Summer Class Fun

When the Imperial Valley summer heat hits, we try to stay indoors as much as possible here at the studio! Yes, of course we still do photo sessions (mostly indoors because of the heat) and although we still do sports photos for summer leagues, we add in SUMMER LEARNING FUN into our regular schedule! We offer a great variety of classes for both adults and children and they all feature an element of photography in some way too!

One of our more popular classes for both teens and adults is our SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY class. We give helpful tips on how to take better photos with your phone with just a few taps on your settings and we also suggest apps that best for editing them. We show you how to order prints of your images (because we feel that's important) and even how to make fun novelty crafts with them for gifts! Towards the end of class, you will also learn how to use mini-lenses for your smartphone that will take your images to the next level! If you haven't taken this class, it's a must! 

Another exciting class that we offered this summer is the STUDIO EXPERIENCE class for teens! In this class, we showed them how to set up a studio lights, backdrops and props and then they each got to take turns being either the model or the photographer! Parents were surprised to see their children come home with a "portfolio" of their work! This class is perfect for any aspiring photographers you may have at home that have shown an interest in photography!

Something new this year that we added in to our class lineup was the KIDS' CRAFT CLASSES! These included a mini-session with digital images and a cool photography craft made from their favorite printed photos. 

Monarch Iconography Studio is so much more than just a photography studio, it's a "photography wonderland" where you get to experience all aspects of photography both in front or behind the camera no matter what age you are! That's the way we want it too!
