Dig Right In!

Little Baby K is in our "Grow With Me" baby photography program. We have totally enjoyed seeing her grow from newborn to a walking one year old just as much as her mama and daddy! So when she came in for her one year Cake Smash Session, we were anxious to see how it would all go down! And down it surely went!

At first, Baby K was a little unsure of what this creamy, gooey thing was in front of her and her expression screamed, "Why in the world is my mama letting me play with it?" In her light little one year old voice, she kept saying, "Mama?....Mama?" as she gave us a bewildered look in between small little handfuls of frosting that she squished out from between her fingers. It was just plain adorable!

Then, this precious little one let opportunity rein! That cake just didn't have a chance! She took it apart piece by piece! Even the cardboard was ripped out from underneath the cake and flipped over! (Seeing this all happen in front of our eyes just reaffirmed why we ONLY use paper backgrounds for our Cake Smash Sessions!)
